Project Goals
Horizontal growth: Rarible sought to expand its ecosystem by rapidly integrating support for new blockchain architectures and deploying across diverse environments. This involved adapting a substantial portion of the marketplace infrastructure and collection smart contracts from Solidity on EVM to other architectures, including Rust for Solana and Move for Aptos, among others.
SpaceDev’s contributions
Migrated and adapted critical smart contracts (marketplace and collections) to new blockchain architectures, including Rust + Anchor for Solana Virtual Machine (Eclipse).
Expanded Rarible's reach to multiple new EVM-compatible chains, enhancing its multi-chain presence and user accessibility.
Implemented a burn-and-mint bridge between Ethereum and Solana to enable seamless NFT migration.
Developed smart contracts for fully on-chain random card packs, introducing mechanics for distributing NFTs of varying rarities.
Improved core Solidity contracts with advanced upgradeability patterns and deterministic deployment strategies.
Built CLI tools and SDKs in Rust and TypeScript to streamline marketplace and collection management.
