Blockchain Summit LATAM 2023 — Colombia

The 7th edition of Blockchain Summit LATAM took place October 4-6, 2023 at the Agora Convention Center in Bogota, Colombia. The event brought together over 2,000 in-person attendees, 5,000+ virtual participants, and 130+ speakers to discuss financial services, banking, government, tokenization, gaming, DeFi, NFTs, metaverse, and Web3.

SpaceDev's CTO, Juan Manuel Sobral, took the stage in a panel on Real-World Asset (RWA) use cases, moderated by Pamela Gonzalez Perilli (Lead Blockchain Developer, Web3 Pro). He was joined by Valentin Jaremtchuk (co-CEO, WIN Investments) and Fedor Bogorodskiy (CEO, Streampay).

Sobral discussed the growing impact of digital investment in art, using the example of a Picasso painting tokenized and sold by Sygnum Bank as a window into what RWA adoption could mean for high-value asset classes.
