Ethereum Uruguay - Onboarding Month

As a company focused on blockchain and its latest innovations, we didn’t want to miss the chance to support the regional web3 community. Throughout April, Ethereum Uruguay carried out an integration campaign called the “onboarding month”, during which their team offered talks across the country to educate about blockchain technology, from its origins and current state to how to get started in it, as well as the most used tools in the market.

The campaign concluded on Thursday, April 27, at the Cowork Sinergia Faro with an event that brought together companies, entrepreneurs, and talents to listen to a variety of interesting talks and connect further with the community.

The SpaceDev team prepared a tech talk titled “In Search of the Enigma: How to Recover Your Private Key,” which explored the intersection of technology, education, and networking with peers. Topics covered included the key differences between Ethereum accounts, alternatives to external accounts, MPC wallets, contract wallets, Shamir Secret Sharing, Metamask Snaps and their lifecycle, accompanied by a real-time demonstration and practical examples.

It is worth mentioning how fortunate we were to share the stage with great companies in the field, such as The Graph and Chainlink, who also participated with unmissable presentations. It was an incredible experience that allowed us to connect with other talents in the Latin American blockchain/web3 ecosystem and promote the various applications of Ethereum.
