Ethereum Argentina 2023, a prominent event in the web3 ecosystem, featured 110 international speakers, 20 technical workshops, nearly 30 sponsors with impressive stands, and an attendance of over 3,000 people.
In addition to all the activities typical of an event of this caliber, it also hosted its own “hackathon” called Buildathon, where talented, multidisciplinary teams dedicated themselves to designing and building web3 solutions. At the end, the finalists had the opportunity to present their products.
With a full house, attendees enjoyed innovative talks, learned about technology, met companies, and explored disruptive projects that could significantly impact society sooner than we think.

Juan Manuel Sobral, CTO of SpaceDev, was one of the keynote speakers, captivating the audience with his presentation “Blockchain: Shaping the Future Landscape of Ethereum Wallets.”
He began with a brief personal introduction about his beginnings in the blockchain world and then delved into the different types of wallets that exist today. He explained their advantages, disadvantages, technological improvements over time, which ones are the most secure, and how each has unique technical implications.
Juan Manuel also emphasized the importance of digital wallets not only for tech savvy people but also for building a secure and accessible infrastructure for general, everyday use.
